ABOUT

INTRODUCTION
Architecture is the combination of art and science, the art or practice of designing and construction buildings. All buildings have an architect who conceives the form of the building beforehand. Not only Aesthetic but also new building design can create by Architecture. Architecture is also concerned with interior design to which human comfort. Architecture can also relate to urban design and its environment. Department of Architecture is one of the most popular department in Technological University(Thanlyin).

EDUCATION FOR ARCHITECTURE
Architecture students focus on the aspect of buildings, they have to study Basic Architectural Drawings, Descriptive Geometry, Architectural Drawings and Practices and Introduction to Visual Design. They also have to study the Design Subjects- Design concepts and Design practices, Computer Application, History and Theory of Architecture. To study ventilation, lighting, acoustic and aesthetics in interior design of buildings they have to study Environmental Sciences and building Technologies and Interior Design. They have to study Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimating to estimate the building’s cost and to understand the building construction- they have to study Architectural Materials and Construction and other structural subjects. To be able to create in urban planning and to understand landscaping architecture they also have to study Urban and regional development planning and Landscape Architecture.

Architectural students have to practice regularly the architectural designs and design studio projects. The students have to submit the B.Arch Graduation Design Thesis in the final year. Architects design and build facilities that improve our standard of living and quality of life. They are creative problem solvers meeting, the challenges of energy needs, building systems, urban development and community planning. As an architect, you can design functional and aesthetic lighting solutions create buildings prepare to withstand earthquake and other natural disasters or invent affordable green technology and architecture.
